Indigo Studio is a working artist's studio selling original artworks by Lisa Howard. We also provide a curated range of art and craft materials and host printmaking and drawing workshops at host venues across the north of England.
Lisa Howard is a printmaker, illustrator, photographer and freelance arts educator. Working primarily with botanical subjects and found objects Lisa creates one-of-a-kind artworks that evidence the processes and materials of making.

Capturing nature with natural processes is central to what we do. We therefore use sustainable materials whenever possible. Utilising recycled cotton and botanical hand-dyed papers and non-toxic, water based inks. Plants and feathers are ethically sourced or gathered in the forest and cyanotype printing is a natural creative process harnessing the sun's energy. We also work with local artisans and manufacturers to supply the best art and craft materials to ensure that you too can enjoy creating sustainably.
Workshops
At Indigo Studio we believe in supporting creativity and sharing our knowledge and expertise with others. We therefore offer a range of creative workshops to suit all abilities from printmaking and drawing to seasonal crafting.
You can join a scheduled workshop at a local venue or discuss a bespoke session for your group or event on a day of your choosing. Please contact for further information.
