Shadow Ink Drawing

Service Description

This practical workshop will cover the basic techniques of ink wash drawing. Utilising my unique drawing apparatus we will create cast shadow drawings of botanical subjects. This technique ensures that the session is accessible for all levels of drawing ability (including 'non-drawers'). You will learn brushwork techniques to improve accuracy and control of the materials and experiment with a variety of papers and subjects in order to explore this exciting process. Participants are always amazed with the results and can't wait to frame at least one of their drawings. Scheduled sessions will be listed and available to book here so watch this space or join the mailing list. Even if this workshop is not currently available to book I can run this as a bespoke workshop at any time of the year for a group of between 4 to 8 people either at my home studio or other suitable venues (to be discussed).
